PM Oli admitted to Teaching Hospital

KATHMANDU, Oct 29 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Monday morning, who has been suffering from seasonal flu and common cold.

KATHMANDU, Oct 29 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj on Monday morning, who has been suffering from the chest infection.


Oli's press advisor Kundan Aryal told Republica Online that the prime minister was admitted to the hospital at around 4 am. "The prime minister's health condition is not critical," he said adding that though he is suffering from the continuous deep cough leading to respiratory difficulties.

Earlier on Sunday, the Prime Minister's Secretariat stated that Oli's health condition was improving.


Oli was taking rest for the past two days avoiding his day-to-day meetings as advised by the doctors.


Oli also joined the Cabinet meeting at the prime minister’s official residence Baluwatar yesterday.


Prime Minister Oli failed to attend the tea reception on Saturday at Bhrikuti Mandap hosted by his party Nepal Communist Party (NCP) due to illness.
