KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Unified CPN-Maoist has claimed that dissatisfaction of President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav over the proposal put by Nepali Congress and CPN-UML has created an additional obstacle for consensus.

Vice-chairman of the party Narayan Kaji Shrestha said such expression of the President has substantiated his party´s claim that attempts are underway to establish military supremacy violating the civilian supremacy.

At a time when the main parties are seeking a ´meeting point´ to prepare the joint resolution proposal, such expression of the President would affect the constitution and peace process, he claimed. "This indicates the attempt of imposing President´s rule in the country dissolving the Constituent Assembly", he said.

The President during his meet with legal practitioners on Saturday had expressed objection saying NC and UML are trying to drag him in controversy taking the Army Chief issue.
