At a program organized at the Office of the President in Shital Niwas on Thursday, President Dr Yadav presented Sukirtimaya Rastrapadiya Medal to four persons, Suprabal Janasewashree to 52 persons, Prabal Janasewashree to 64 and Janasewashree to 16 persons.
Chancellor of Nepal Fine Arts Academy Kiran Manandhar, Vice-Chancellor of Academy of Nepal Music and Drama Prachanda Malla, Chief of Army Staff Gaurav Shumsher JBR and Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr Yubraj Khatiwada were honored from Sukirtimaya Rastrapadiya Medal.
Likewise, Swami Chetananda Giri, actor Rajesh Hamal and social worker Pushpa Basnet, among others were also honored on the occasion.
Vice-President Parmanand Jha, Chairman of the Interim Election Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi, Chiefs of constitutional bodies and high-level government officials were present at the program.
