According to the president´s press advisor Rajendra Dahal, Yadav expressed his concern toward the parties´ failure in forming new government even nearly five months after the resignation of Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
"It has been six months after the term of the Constituent Assembly was extended and nearly five months after the prime minister tendered his resignation but there is no indication of resolving the political stalemate. Therefore, he expressed his concern during the talks with the leaders," said Dahal.
After holding a meeting with the president, Khanal said the head of state is worried over the delay in constitution-writing and government formation.
"He is worried that the recent development may turn the relationship among the major political parties sour mainly after the Friday´s incident of parliament," Khanal told reporters after the meeting.
Khanal also stressed the need for summoning parliament session at the earliest.
Earlier, the president had talked to UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal as well.
