Press accreditation card must for foreign journos

KATHMANDU, June 16: The Department of Information (DoI) has made it mandatory for foreign journalists travelling to Nepal to cover International Conference on Nepal's Reconstruction being held in Kathmandu on June 25.

According to DoI Director General Laxmi Bilas Koirala, foreign journalists visiting Nepal to cover the international conference are requested to contact DoI for temporary press accreditation card.

They will be required to submit DoI a copy of passport (other than Indian), a copy of press card or press identity card and three copies of passport size photographs for the accreditation card. Journalists are also not allowed to use drone camera without prior permission.
