Home Minister Bhim Rawal and Chief District Officer, Lalitpur Laxmi Prasad Dhakal welcomed the President with the bouquet of flower in the temple at 9:30am.
Large number of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force Personnel were deployed for the security management of the temple premises during the president´s visit.
Devotees from Kathmandu and other areas have attended the fair from early morning. For the convenience of the devotees main gate of temple was opened from 11:30 last night for 50 devotees at a time.
Temple Management Committee has managed separate lines of women and men for the well management of the fair for the devotees.
More than 1,000 volunteers of Nepal Red Cross and Scout have been deployed in a bid to manage the fair, said Birendra Lal Shrestha, coordinator of the volunteer mobilization committee.
