KATHMANDU, Oct 12: President Ram Chandra Paudel will offer tika and ‘jamara’ to the public at the Presidential Residence, Sheetal Niwas, on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami 2081 BS.
His office has announced that he will offer ‘tika’ and ‘jamara’ to interested members of the public on Saturday, October 12, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
On Saturday, in celebration of Bijaya Dashami, President Poudel will hold a ceremony from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM to offer tika and jamara to distinguished and special individuals.

According to the President's Office, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, President Poudel will offer tika and jamara at the Presidential Residence to dignitaries, including the Deputy Prime Minister, provincial chiefs, ministers, judges, members of parliament, and officials from constitutional bodies. Additionally, during the same time, civil servants, military personnel, and police officers at the official level will also receive tika and jamara.

President Poudel will receive tika for Bijaya Dashami on the occasion of Bada Dashain 2081 BS from his 94-year-old brother, Dundiraj Paudel.
This year, President Poudel will receive ‘tika’, prasad, jamara, and blessings from his brother Dundiraj. On the same occasion, President Poudel will also receive tika, jamara, and prasad from the priest.
