Speaking at the program, Dr Yadav laid stress on the importance of having sense of responsibility and sincerity. He said peace requires religious tolerance.
“Religion should be for peace, harmony and love,” he said, adding, “All Nepalis should have respect for each other´s religions and maintain religious harmony.”
After the program, he met the representatives of religious minorities, including Muslims and Sikhs.
The building is built in five katthas of land at a cost of Rs 40 million, the president of Torapant Sabha, Ashok Baidya, informed.
The program was also attended by Constituent Assembly members, Chief District Officer, DIGs of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, among others.
The president, who reached Birgunj on a Nepal Army helicopter, returned to the capital Friday itself.
