NEPALGUNJ, June 4: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has today arrived in Nepalgunj to participate in Iftar ceremony of the Muslim community. President Bhandari, landed at Nepalgunj airport at 2 pm, and is scheduled to take part in a ceremony slated to take place at 5 pm at Siddhartha Cottage.
The President currently is staying in a hotel in Nepalgunj, said Dipa Sharma, undersecretary at the Secretariat of the President.

The Muslim community is happy as the President is participating in the ceremony, said Abdul Wahid Mansuri, coordinator of the Muslim Society, Banke. Security has been managed following the arrival of the President, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Arun Poudel.
Following her participation in the ceremony, President Bhandari will participate in the 50th anniversary and the unveiling ceremony of a monument of Prabhat Secondary School at Baijanath rural municipality-5 in Banke on Wednesday, said Sharma.
