People interested will have to video record them singing the song and send it to the production unit by December 26. By January 1, 2016 the best videos will be uploaded on YouTube. Based on the number of views, top 10 winners will be announced on February 10.Beside the cash prize of Rs 100,000 to the winner, the top 10 covers will be awarded with a mobile phone set each while the top 20 will receive some scholarship for education abroad. Singers of the original song, Sugam Pokhrel and Anju Panta along with musician Arjun Pokhrel will announce the winner.
'Prem Geet' will hit theaters on February 12, 2016. Directed by Sudarshan Thapa, the film stars Pooja Sharma and Pradeep Khadka in lead roles.
