Prasain to be kept in custody for additional 4 days

Kathmandu District Court allowed authorities to keep Durga Prasain in custody for an additional four days.

KATHMANDU, May 18: Kathmandu District Court allowed authorities to keep Durga Prasain in custody for an additional four days.


The court allowed the police to keep Prasain, who was arrested on March 28 for allegedly inciting and causing a monarchist protest at Tinkune, for further investigation.

According to the Kathmandu District Police Office, the court extended Prasain's detention on charges of offenses against the state.
