KATHMANDU, March 13: Patriotic People’s Republican Front of Nepal (PPRFN) has expressed its deep concern over country’s deteriorating situation evidenced by the recent political incidents that occurred in Saptari and Kanchanpur.
Issuing a press release on Monday PPRFN Chairman CP Gajurel has said that Nepal’s sovereignty has reached its nadir, which is corroborated by the Kanchanpur incident and the government’s non-committal attitude towards this incident.
Likewise, Gajurel has severely criticized the government for its decision to grant exemption to Ncell, a telecommunications company, from the CGT as well as its failure to forestall the Saptari incident.
The declaration of the local polls before settling the thorny issue of the demarcation of provincial borders is a symbol of the possible end of a federal system, said Gajurel.
