Govt blacklists half a dozen errant contractors, vendors

The blacklisted vendors, contractors disqualified from participating in public procurement for a year

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has blacklisted half a dozen errant contractors and vendors for a year. Issuing a public notice on Saturday, the PPMO said that it decided to blacklist six contractors and vendors upon the recommendations of various government agencies or public entities.


The decision to blacklist these contractors and vendors will disqualify them from participating in any public procurement process for a year.

According to the PPMO’s notice, M/S Wora Intertrade Co Ltd, Thailand and M/S BS Trade International have been blacklisted on the recommendation of the Nepal Army, while Bajrangbali Construction of Bajhang was included in the list on the recommendation of the Federal Roads Supervision and Monitoring Office, Surkhet.

Similarly, B and M Construction of Dadeldhura has been blacklisted  for a year on the recommendation of the Infrastructure Development Office, Dadeldhura.

Similarly, Dey Bishes Tara Construction of Rolpa has been blacklisted based on the recommendation of the Division Forest Office, Rolpa, and Dhakal Construction of Dhading on the recommendation of Galchhi Rural Municipality Office for a year.
