KATHMANDU, Oct 14: The Pokhara Premier League (PPL) has signed an associate sponsorship deal with the VG Automobiles Private Limited for the upcoming season which is set to start from October 26 to November 6. 

In a program organized in Kathmandu on Saturday, Queens Events Management Managing Director Chhumbi Lama and VG Automobiles’ Marketing Manager Nabaraj Koirala signed on the agreement paper.  As part of the deal, VG Automobiles, the authorized distributor of the company, Suzuki Motors, will provide the three best players of the tournaments with Suzuki Gixxer 155 CC bikes. Also, the man-of-the-series, the best batsman and the best bowlers will also be rewarded with Suzuki Gixxer bikes. 

This is the first time that a tournament is giving three bikes to the top performers in Nepali cricket history. 

A total of six teams are taking part in the tournament which will be played at the Pokhara Cricket Ground. The teams, the marquee players and the auction of the players have already been finalized for the tournament. 

The organizers are confident that the tournament will help make Pokhara a neutral venue for cricket along with the development of tourism for the city. They also hope that the rewards will help in increasing the excitement in the players and also to make the tournament full of entertainment.
