Pozak hits market<br/>Himstar's scheme

KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Posak International Nepal, a local garment manufacturer, has launched Pozak brand of clothing, including products like T-shirts, pullovers, sweat shirts and jeans, in the market. [break]



Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the company said that the brand produced by partners in the garment industry, who worked for renowned brands of the world for 15 years, targets to cater to the tastes of new generation Nepalis.



“Pozak will provide comfort, style, quality and affordable ready-to-wear casual garments made in Nepal,” the statement adds. The company is marketing the brand with a slogan ´Support Your Local Brand´.





Himstar´s scheme



KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Him Electronics Pvt Ltd, the manufacturer and distributor of Himstar televisions, has announced a scheme for the Dashain-Tihar festive season.



The scheme -- Aba 5 Lakhko Jhatka -- provides customers with a scratch card with every purchase. According to Him Electronics, the instant cash prizes go up to Rs 500,000.



“Himstar color televisions are of international standard and produced using the latest technology,” the Himstar Electronics says, adding that the televisions are gaining popularity among Nepalis because of its picture and sound quality.





Miho Action Stations



KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Jagbamba Foods, the manufacturer of Miho noodles, has launched promotional activities called Miho Action Stations for the recently unveiled product.



The ´action stations´ are stalls with trained cooks, hostesses and assistants placed in major shopping outlets, major thoroughfares and streets across the capital. The stations provide customers with freshly cooked Miho noodles in three forms -- soup, fried and sandheko.



According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the prepared dishes will cost Rs 15, the same price of the noodle packages.
