GORKHA, Nov 15: Former Prime Minister and Federal Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that political parties should find ways to resolve disputes seen in the judiciary as this has already taken a turn for the worse.
Speaking with media personnel at Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality in Gorkha, Bhattarai said that political parties should move forward to solve the problem as the state cannot afford to remain a hostage for a very long time. He said that the issues seen in the executive, judiciary, and legislative should be resolved as soon as possible.
Judiciary should resolve its own disputes: Dahal
Bhattarai said that the judiciary has not been able to solve its problems on its own even as political parties want to see them resolve their problems on their own. He also mentioned that the current state of the executive, judiciary, and legislative is not a very good sign. “The three organs of the state are autonomous and independent but are interrelated with each other,” Bhattarai said.
On a separate note, Bhattarai said that the discussion between the coalition has been made only till the elections. ‘It has not been decided whether the coalition will fight the election together although I hope it does,” he added.
