KATHMANDU, March 7: Police are actively searching for a group involved in recent robberies in Baglung and Jhapa.
On Thursday, thieves stole various gold ornaments worth 9 tolas from Laxmi Sangraula's house in Daspul, Arjundhara Municipality-6, Jhapa. Police also reported that they took items valued at about Rs 1.5 million, including 3 tolas of silver, from the same house.

In a similar incident on the same day, thieves stole gold ornaments worth 5 tolas from Deurupa Neupane's house in Okharbot, Galkot Municipality-4, Baglung. They also took a mobile phone and Rs 12,000 in cash.
Authorities are continuing their efforts to apprehend those involved in the thefts.
