KATHMANDU, April 23: The pistol carried by Senior Sub-Inspector Purna BC of Bara police has gone missing. DSP Dadhiram Neupane, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Bara, confirmed the loss, stating that the gun disappeared during a drug operation last night.
A team, including Senior Sub-Inspector BC from the Amlekhgunj Area Police Office, conducted the operation on Monday night, during which several people were arrested with marijuana.
It was during this operation that the pistol, an automatic loaded with 10 rounds of bullets, went missing. The Bara police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
