KATHMANDU, Oct 30: The central police headquarters has issued a directive to 22 police personnel who have been absent from their duties, including assistant sub-inspectors, head constables, assistant head constables, and constables. They are required to establish contact with the authorities within seven days, providing a satisfactory explanation for their prolonged absence.
Among the officers, Police Assistant Sub-Inspector James Hang Sodemba, stationed at the Kathmandu Valley Police Control Room Coordination Branch in Ranipokhari, has been absent since August 9. Similarly, Police Constable Dumbar Narayan Chaudhary, serving at the Mangjabung Panchthar Police Station, has not reported for duty since September 15. Despite efforts to locate and inform these officers, they have remained unresponsive.

The notice further emphasizes that failure to establish contact with a satisfactory explanation within seven days from the date of this publication will result in their removal from the police service.
