KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The Nepal Police Headquarters has instructed 15 policemen who have been absent from their designated offices to report within seven days. The Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police issued a public notice on Thursday, asking the police officers in question to report to their offices with the reason for their absence.
Failure to comply will result in action being taken as per the police regulations, according to the Nepal Police HQ.
‘Chor’-police
The policemen who have been absent from their offices include Head Constable Raghu Nath Hojam, Assistant Head Constables Dhan Bahadur Karki and Chetan Mahara, and Constables Krishna Giri, Mitra Yonjhan, Rupak Saud, Khem Raj Rana, among others.
Similarly, Aslam Miya Bhai, Dilip Kumar Sah, Rajesh Kumar Shah, Ram Bahadur Majhi, Shambhu Bishwakarma, Arjun Kumar Pun Magar, Gopal Tharu, and office assistant Laxman Thapa have also been asked to appear at the office with explanation.
