Police crackdown on home-made liquor in Chitwan

RATNANAGAR, April 18: The District Police Office in Chitwan has launched a campaign to control the production of home-made liquor. 



On the first day, the authorities destroyed almost 10,000 litres of domestic liquor along with raw materials used in manufacturing it, shared Chitwan's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Deepak Shrestha. 



Around 10 police units were mobilized in the district on the day. They confiscated 7,630 litres of raw materials and 2070 litres of liquor before destroying them. 



The police launched the crackdown in Bharatpur along with Narayangadh, Chanauli, Gitanagar, Bhandara, Lothar Bhojad, Dibyanagar Bachyauli and Muglin. RSS
