SINDHULI, Oct 25: Police have arrested eight youths on charge of gang-raping three teenagers aged 15, 16, and 17. The teenagers were reportedly returning home after receiving Tika from their relatives in Dashain.
According to SP Gobind Thapaliya of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, the arrested have been identified as Deepak Magar, 20, Arjun Magar, 23, Dhan Bahadur Bamjan, 23, Milan Lama, 21, and Akash Magar of Kamalamai Municipality-5. They were arrested from Bardibas in Mahottari.

Earlier, police had arrested Vivek Magar, Shiva Magar and Hem Lama were arrested from the spot.
Police have recovered a Scorpio vehicle (Ba 10 Cha 1836) used by the accused. Two motorcycles (Ba 2-02-003 Pa 1210 and Ba 2-02-004 Pa 5376) used by the accused have also been taken under control by police. One of the rape accused Bishwa Rai is still absconding, according to police.
Nine men had raped three young women in Pulmuni Bagar in Labdah Khola in Kamalamai Municipality at around 2 PM on October 16.
