Police arrest 4 drugs peddlers

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Police have arrested four drugs peddlers from Swoyambhu area in three days.

According to Metropolitan Police Circle, Swoyambhu, they arrested Kalyani Gurung, 37, a permanent resident of Chainpur-9 in Chitwan district with 12 grams black heroin and Sunil Kumar Shyangbo, 33, of KMC-24 with 3 grams black heroin on Monday.

Likewise, Jogindar Chaudhary, 45, of Motihari, India was nabbed with 42 grams black heroin on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, police arrested Gulab Paswan, 22, of Bihar, India with 50 grams black heroin.

Police said a total of 107 grams black heroin was confiscated from their possession, adding that further investigation was underway.
