Pokhara, Thamel set date for final

KATHMANDU, June 19: The veterans´ team of Nepal Seven-A-Side Football Federation, Pokhara, and Thamel XI have set the date for final of the Late Dr Harka Gurung Memorial Seven-A-Side-Football Tournament.



In the semifinal matches played at the Army Headquarters ground on Friday, the veterans´ team beat Casino Royale 2-0 in the first match and Thamel XI edged Amar Brother´s Club 7-3 in the other.



Pushpa KC scored both the goals for the veterans´ team. For Thamel XI, Sagar Khadka completed hat tricked, Milan Shrestha scored a brace and Rajesh Shahi and Narendra Shrestha added one each. Manish Joshi, Sanubabu Dangol and Ram Chandra Shrestha scored one each for Amar Brother´s.
