POKHARA, March 8: Local administration and medical institutions in Pokhara have agreed to open hospitals and nursing homes from Monday. In a 14-point agreement, the local administration has agreed to provide necessary security to hospitals and the health institutions have agreed to resume their service. The agreement was made at a meeting held in Pokhara in presence of Home Secretary Dr Gobinda Kusum and Health Secretary Dr Dirgha Singh Bam who flew to Pokhara Sunday to resolve the problem. The hospitals were shut since Saturday after relatives of a girl who died in hospital shortly after she was administered anti-rabbis vaccine on Friday vandalized the Western Regional Hospital.
