KATHMANDU, July 14: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has hinted the possibility of reconsideration on the provision of 'free visa and ticket' provided that political parties were agreed on it.
While inaugurating the 25th General Assembly of Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies ( NAFEA) amidst a programme here today, the Prime Minister said he would take initiations for forging an agreement to address the demand for reconsideration on the 'free visa, free ticket' provision put forth by foreign employment agencies.

Expressing his concern over increasing death cases of Nepalis in foreign soil, he stressed that all sides including manpower agencies must be sensitive about ensuring economic and physical security of Nepali workers.
Contribution of foreign employment to nation's economy is significant, he added.
Also at the event, the Minister for Labour and Employment Farmullah Mansoor admitted to the failure of implementing the provision of 'free visa, free ticket' effectively and serving the common interest of workers.
National Human Rights Commission member Sudip Pathak shared that foreign employment would be the main focus and agenda of the people in the next 10 years.
Meanwhile, the General Assembly is electing a new leadership for the Association and the voting is taking place today itself. RSS
