KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged all to take part in a nationwide campaign to search and destroy the breeding grounds of mosquitoes carrying dengue.


In a message on Thursday, the PM has called on all to carry out search and destroy campaigns at least once a week.

The PM has urged the stakeholders, civil servants, security bodies, social activists and citizens to conduct the campaign nationwide at 10:10 AM on Friday to destroy larva, pupa and ditches to destroy the breeding places of mosquitoes adding that it was the best way to control the dengue spread. 


PM Oli has said that dengue has created a serious public health challenge as its outbreak is still prevalent in some districts of Nepal.
