PM takes oath of Nepal Scout

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has taken the oath of Nepal Scout amidst a function in the Capital on Saturday.



There is a provision of making Prime Minister the patron of Nepal Scout.[break]



Speaking at the function organized at the Prime Minister´s official residence at Baluwatar, he said the scouts campaign was necessary for making people with decent character and build a new Nepal, and assured that the government will provide necessary support and increase the grant to forward the campaign.



Similarly, Chief Commissioner of Nepal Scout Shreeram Lamichhane said Nepal Scout has been working for environment conservation, income generation, blood donation and other social activities.



Nepal Scout, which was established in 2009 BS, has around 65,000 scouts across the country.
