KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's chief political advisor Haribol Gajurel has resigned from the post.
Gajurel said that although he had submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister on 6th of December, it has not been accepted yet. Although he did not disclose the reason for his resignation, it is understood that he resigned with the preparation of becoming a candidate in the upcoming National Assembly elections.
Leader Gajurel, who is also the Deputy General Secretary of the Maoist Center, was appointed as the chief political advisor to the Prime Minister Dahal on January 23 last year.
