KATHMANDU, Feb 26: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is opening the Narayanhiti Palace Museum at 2 p.m. on Thursday nine months after the country was proclaimed republic. However, the museum will open for the public from Friday. The museum will remain closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and government holidays. The museum has 52 rooms but only 19 have been opened for the public. At one time, 15 persons will be allowed inside the museum and they can spend 25 minutes, according to the museum management. Camera, food, arms and pets are not allowed inside the museum.
