PM Oli to visit India first: DPM Thapa

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will visit to India first in an appropriate time, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa said on Wednesday.



Speaking at an interaction program in the capital, Thapa said that the PM will leave for India visit on an appropriate time as the preliminary preparations have been completed. "We have very important and cordial relations with India. The preliminary preparations for the visit have been completed. India will be his first visit," Thapa said.

He also said that Chinese government has also invited the PM for the state visit.

"The Indian prime minister in his Nepal visit earlier had pledged support for Nepal," Thapa added, "These support should also be implemented." The PM's visit will make necessary arrangement for the implementation too, Thapa said.
