Earlier, Prime Minister Oli had shared a social media post stating, “Humla is no longer far away,” noting that his decades-old dream of expanding the road network to Humla was being fulfilled. Accordingly, he is scheduled to visit Humla today.
“The 26-year-long dream of connecting Simkot, the district headquarters of Humla, to the national road network is about to come true,” the Prime Minister wrote. “Once this road becomes operational, Nepal will be connected to our friendly neighbor China through the Hilsa border point.”
