KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Even though Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's aides said earlier that Oli would be attending public events from today, the prime minister skipped an event on 'Colombo Process' at Hotel Soaltee citing his hectic schedule.

"As the prime minister's health has become normal, he was scheduled to attend public events from today but he could not do so as he got busy in other important official tasks," Oli's Press Advisor Kundan Aryal told Republica Online. However, Prime Minister Oli is having meetings with party leaders and government officials at this official residence in Baluwatar, according to Aryal.

Earlier Republica Online reported that Oli would be attending public functions from today itself.

Prime Minister Oli was taking rest while avoiding public events until Thursday as suggested by the doctors following his four-day treatment at the Maharajgunj-based TUTH since October 29.
