KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has faced a sharp loss of 77,000 Facebook followers, following an ‘unfollow’ campaign initiated by supporters of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah.

The campaign was started on Tuesday after Mayor Shah’s post criticizing UML Provincial Assembly Member Rekha Kumari Sharma was removed from Facebook, leading to a rapid decline in Oli’s followers from 666,000 to 589,000 by Wednesday.
