PM Oli directs to carryout activities to achieve goals

KATHMANDU, Sept 26: Prime Minister KP Oli has directed all ministers and secretaries to be coordinative to bring visible progress for economic prosperity and development.
At a programme organised at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, at Singha Durbar, on the review of the first two months achievement of government's policy and programme of the current fiscal year 2019/20, Prime Minister Oli asked the ministers and secretaries to bring notable progress.
He said, "Reasons should be clearly mentioned why projects have not been forwarded. Two folds works should be carried out if activities have not been carried out in these first two months. Otherwise, annual goals will not be achieved. All should pay attention on it." Prime Minister Oli urged to focus attention on significant programs to contribute in the development, economic progress as well as to give positive result and effect of change in the society.
He also drew an attention to carry out right works on right time.
Saying the trend of providing contracts to some contractors under political power should be stopped; PM Oli urged to give satisfaction to the people by forwarding developmental activities in a healthy and transparent way keeping the nation in the mind.
On the occasion, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers presented progress details as per the budget, programme and performance agreement with concerned ministers.
