KATHMANDU, July 28: Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli sent message of congratulations to Lee Hsien Loong on his re-election as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.
While wishing the new Prime Minister a successful tenure of office, Prime Minister Oli expressed the hope that Nepal-Singapore relations will be further strengthened during his tenure.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali also sent a message of congratulations to Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan on his re-appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore.
Recalling their meeting in Male, Maldives in September 2019, Foreign Minister Gyawali has expressed the confidence that the friendship and cooperation existing between Nepal and Singapore will be further strengthened during the tenure of Balakrishnan.
