PM Oli confers awards on 40 civil servants

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has handed over the Civil Service Awards to 40 government employees on the occasion of the 21st Civil Service Day at Singh Darbar on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has handed over the Civil Service Awards to 40 government employees on the occasion of the 21st Civil Service Day at Singh Darbar on Saturday.


PM Oli conferred the awards announced last year on the civil servants on the occasion of the 20th Civil Service Day. He handed over 10 Best Civil Service Awards and 30 Civil Service Awards with letters of appreciation.


Thaneshwar Gautam, Buddha Bahadur Gurung, Kavind Nepal, Man Bahadur Khadka, Ram Prasad Lamsal, Dhundiraj Lamichhane, Chandra Prasad Mishra, Sunil Kumar KC, Laxmi Krishna Hamal and Shuba Lakshmi Lama are among the employees receiving the Best Civil Service Awards. The award also carries the purse of Rs 100,000.

PM Oli awarded Civil Service Award to Dr. Roshni Lakshmi Tuitui, Kumar Ghimire, Sukdev Lamsal, Revika Amatya, Raj Kumar KC, Homanath Bhattarai, Sangeeta Swar, Dr. Damru Ballav Poudel, Narayan Prasad Gyawali, Chudaraj Sapkota, Shobha Giri, Nar Bahadur Negi, Meen Paudel, Sushila Gyawali, and Kishor Panthi.


The award was also handed over to Navraj Tamang, Sujan Jojiju, Yukt Prasad Subedi, Manita Neupane, Shashidhar Sedhain, Thakur Prasad Bhattarai, Manoj Kumar Mahato, Raju Katuwal Chhetri, Hurmat BK, Dev Kala Aryal, Umesh Bhattarai, Ram Prakash Sah, Deepak Raj Pant, Shanta Maharjan and Jawahar Lal Ahir. The award carries a purse of Rs 50,000.


Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal and high-ranking officials attended the prize distribution ceremony. In the same event, this year's names for the Best Civil Service Award and Civil Service Award were announced.


Every year, the government has been rewarding employees based on their performances.
