KATHMANDU, Jan 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal met Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter´s residence in Maharajgunj Saturday morning. The leaders discussed current political situation, Maoists´ worsening relation with CPN-UML and ways to improve relation between NC and Maoists. According to a source close to Koirala, the NC president suggested the PM to ensure implementation of the past commitments including return of property to concerned owners and shun harsh comments against any political parties to ensure drafting of the constitution on time. Prime minister also requested Koirala to attend Constitutional Council meeting Saturday afternoon. Koirala is member of the committee in the capacity of main opposition leader. Besides Koirala and Dahal, former Home Minister Krishna Sitaula was also present at the meeting.
