PM forms 5-member talks team

KATHMANDU, June 29: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Monday formed a five-member panel of CPN-UML leaders to talk to other political parties to end the ongoing stalemate in the Legislature Parliament. The panel is headed by UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel. [break]



Other members of the committee are UML Deputy Parliamentary Party leader Bishnu Poudel, Minister for Information and Communication, Shankar Pokharel, prime minister´s political advisor Raghuji Pant, and UML´s Chief Whip in the parliament, Bhim Prasad Acharya.



The team will find a way out to the ongoing political deadlock after talking to Unified CPN (Maoist) and Nepali Congress (NC) leaders. The panel is scheduled to talk to Maoists and NC leaders on Monday itself, prime minister´s press advisor Bishnu Rijal told Republica.
