KATHMANDU, Feb 5: Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), who had gone to Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday morning, returned disappointed.
According to a source close to Baluwatar, PM Dahal told Lamichhane, who was adamant that he should get the Ministry of Home Affairs, that he could not make him a minister now.
Sources claim that Prime Minister Dahal said that even though the citizenship issue has been settled, he cannot appoint Lamichhane a minister because of the passport dispute.
After PM Dahal told Lamichhane that he cannot give any ministry to Lamichhane now, the latter left Baluwatar angrily.
