KATHMANDU, March 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed grief over the huge loss of life and property caused by incidents of fire in the eastern region of Nepal.
Expressing sorrow over the loss of property in Morang, Bhojpur and other districts due to fire on Saturday, the Prime Minister, through his social media account last night, requested all citizens to remain alert against the incidents of fire including forest fires.
"The loss of property due to fire in the hilly districts of eastern Nepal including Bhojpur is saddening. Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, I request the public to take precaution against the possible risk of fire," the PM said in the message.
It may be noted that three children of the same family died in an incident of fire in Hatuwagadi Rural Municipality-7 of Bhojpur on Saturday. Likewise, in the last two days, there have been incidents of fire and forest fires in Udayapur, Kathmandu, Mahottari, Surkhet, Tehrathum, Saptari, Taplejung and other districts.
