Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nepal has proposed establishing bilateral relation with Cambodia. The prime minister made such a proposal before Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen during a meeting between the two held in Phnom Penh on Thursday.

Nepal said the two Asian countries can work together in various international forums for mutual interests after the establishment of bilateral relations.

“Nepal and Cambodia can work together in the fields of tourism, agriculture and reconstruction as both the countries share similar political and cultural backgrounds," Rajan Bhattarai, the prime minister´s political advisor, quoted Nepal as saying. "Similarly, the two countries can jointly work together for the interests of the least developed countries."
