PK defend volleyball title

KATHMANDU, May 24: Hosts Padma Kanya (PK) Multiple Campus ´A´ defended the title of the Second Inter-campus Vice Chancellor Cup Volleyball Tournament on Monday.



PK defeated Nepal Commerce Campus 3-1. Shanker Dev College bagged the third place. [break]



Kopila Uprety of the winning side won the best player of the tournament award while Ratna Rai of the hosts´ ´B´ team was adjudged the best all-rounder.



Tribhuvan University Rector Prof Dr Surya Lal Amatya distributed the prizes to the winners and the runners-up. Eight teams participated in the six-day tournament held in league-cum-knockout format.
