Pilgrim swept by river

CHITWAN, Aug 10: A bolbam pilgrim was swept by a river at the pilgrimage site of Devghat Monday morning. Roshan Mahato, 23, of Hetauda-2, was swept by the swollen Beni River where he was taking dip at 8 a.m., eyewitnesses said. His body has not been recovered.



A woman, who was also about to be swept away by the river, was rescued by pilgrims.
