KATHMANDU, May 11: Youths affiliated to the ‘Save the Border’ campaign and students affiliated to Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) staged a demonstration in the capital on Monday against the border encroachment by India in the Kalapani region.
During their protest, the members of Save the Border campaign also burnt the effigies of the Prime Ministers of Nepal and India.
Meanwhile, police arrested dozens of protestors including the president of NSU Rajiv Dhungana, General Secretary Baldev Timilsina, and leader Dipak Bhattarai.
