KATHMANDU, Jan 26: The month-long Madhav Narayan Brata (fast) is going to get a new face this year. The organizing committee of Sali Nadi Brata Mela has capped the number of participants to 50 for this year in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a newly introduced measure, the committee on Tuesday conducted PCR testS of the applicants for the fast that will start from Thursday early morning. The applicants also underwent Chest X-ray to find out if they have any other medical conditions or pneumonia.
