Petroleum supply to resume Thursday

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Petroleum dealers and agitating workers have reached an agreement to address the demands put forward by the former, clearing the way for resumption of normal supply of petroleum products from Thursday.



The Petroleum Dealers Association agreed to meet 13 of the 16 demands of the Maoist-affiliated Nepal Petroleum Workers Association. The dealers agreed to provide appointment letter and pay at least the minimum wage fixed by the government.[break]



The two sides met in the presence of government representatives.
