Pepsi announces bumper winner

KATHMANDU: Pepsi has announced the bumper prize winner of its ´20-20´ promotional campaign held from June 16 to August 6. Amid a program in the capital on Thursday, Pepsi handed over Rs 2 million to bumper winner Bal Kumari Basnet. Rohit Kohli, unit manager of Varun Beverage Nepal and country manager of PepsiCo, handed over the prize to Basnet.



Similarly, the company gave away cash prize of Rs 100,000 each to its 10 daily winners from July 28 to August 6. According to a company statement, Basnet and her daughter Yashoda won daily prize of Rs 100,000 and Rs 200,000 respectively on Thursday itself. [break]



Her husband Tanka Bahadur Pandey had won Rs 100,000 as daily price in the second week of the campaign. “We at Pepsi are very proud to have had another successful summer campaign in Nepal. The response to the brand was very positive and we look forward to doing more exciting consumer engagements in the times to come,” Kohli said in the statement. According to the company, it distributed prizes worth Rs 7.2 million during the campaign period.
