Leader Poudel who just returned to the district headquarters by wrapping up an election campaign in the southern part of the district, claimed that the Congress would not agree on the proposal of postponing the election under any circumstances.

"No matter either Prachanda or Madhav Kumar Nepal lobbies for putting off of election date, the Congress never accepts this proposal," he said referring to the chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ´Prachanda´ and CPN (UML) senior leader Nepal.

People have accepted the election announced for November 19 and it would take place on the announced date, he said, adding, the responsibility of leading the nation will automatically fall upon Congress´ shoulder if the UCPN (M) and UML quit the election.

Accusing UCPN (M) Chairman Dahal of having a daydream of becoming the state President, he claimed that Prachanda would never be a real president.

He further claimed that his party would secure majority in the election and pledged to work for democracy and press freedom.
