An unidentified man in his 40s died on the spot after being hit by a passenger bus (Na.4Kha6544) heading towards Kathmandu from Siraha, according to District Police Office.[break]
The road accident at Malpot chowk in Bharatpur-10 took place at around 3:00 am today, Chitwan police said.
The bus has been impounded but the bus driver is at large. Police have launched a search for the absconding driver and are trying to trace the identity and thereby the next to kin of the deceased.
